Dakota Parsons, son of Melina and Randy Parsons, holds the September “Student Spotlight” title at South Branch Career and Technical Center. Dakota is an 11th grade student at Petersburg High School who is also enrolled in the Automotive program at SBCTC. Dakota holds the simulated workplace role of ‘R.O.I. Manager’, which involves documenting automotive repair projects and filing this information in the South Branch Auto E.R.’s company records. While Dakota’s performance in Automotive class is to be commended, he is probably known best for his outstanding skill in archery. Mr. Parsons has competed on the PHS archery team at the state, national, and world levels. We are proud of Dakota and all of his accomplishments, whether they be in the Career and Technical Education classroom or on the archery range. Thank you, Dakota, for your contributions to South Branch Career and Technical Center.
